Episode 6 recap
Episode 6, called “Distorted City (Orario),” begins with Heath of the Freya family diagnosing Bell as suffering from an alleged curse that altered his memories. Bell remembered his time with the Hestia family, but Heath claimed these memories were false.
When asked to remove the curse, Heath suggested erasing Bell’s memories, but Bell refused. Freya then ordered the Horn to take her identity so she could charm those not affected by her first spell.
Freya met Ouranos, asking for his neutrality in exchange for more dungeon exploration. Ouranos agreed, unable to resist her power. Meanwhile, Bell underwent difficult combat training with members of the Freya Familia, barely escaping. During this, Eina found a diary expressing her feelings for Bell, but she forgot it after Freya re-enchanted her. Bell, trying to accept his new reality, was further manipulated by Freya with fake memories of their first meeting. Freya subtly made Bell distrust his past, leaving him unsure of his true allegiances and background. Episode 6 ended with Bell questioning his identity, looking out over the city, and feeling lost.
