Superman battles Doomsday, a powerful enemy, in the previous episode. Superman might lose, it appeared. However, the conclusion of the conflict is seen in episode 10. Superman gains knowledge from his blunders. Superman fights Doomsday with the aid of his sons, Jonathan and Jordan.
As he battles in space, Doomsday recalls his previous identity as Bizarro. He chooses to give his life in order to aid Superman. Given that Bizarro was formerly Superman’s buddy and adversary, this was a really moving moment.
Superman and Lex Luthor in Battle
After defeating Doomsday, Superman faces off against another powerful enemy, Lex Luthor. Wearing an original costume, Lex plans to use kryptonite to destroy Superman. But because Superman is too strong, he defeats Lex. Lex is sentenced to life in prison.
The episode shows us the future in two parts. First, we see what happens a year later. John Henry Irons and Lana Lang get married. Chrissy and Kyle are going to have a baby. Sarah decides to stay abroad and Jordan is happy where he is.
In the second part, we see several years in the future. Superman, Jordan, Jonathan, Steel and Starlight work together as a superhero team. Clark Kent starts a charity to help people. We also see Jordan and Jonathan as adults with their families.
In the final part of the episode, we see the end of Clark and Lois’ lives. Lois’ cancer returns and she dies. Clark lives for many more years with a dog named Krypto. In the end, Clark also dies and has a dream in which he says goodbye to all the important people in his life. After death, he meets Lois again and they are together once again.
The ending of Superman and Lois shows why this show is loved by many people. It tells us that human relationships are very important. Clark Kent’s life as a normal person is just as important as his life as Superman. The show ends with a strong message about the importance of family and friends.
