In the last episode of MF Ghost Season 2, the rain finally stopped during the big race on Lake Ashinoko. This was good because it meant that the drivers could continue the race without any accidents. But then, something new happened: volcanic ash from Mount Fuji created a thick fog called the White Devil. This made it really hard for the racers to see.
Our main character, Kanata, saw an opportunity to use the fog to his advantage. He did a great job and turned a difficult situation into something that helped him.

What to expect in episode 7
Episode 7 of MF Ghost season 2 is called ‘Lonesome Cowboy.’ In this episode, Kanata will try to maintain his good position in the race, even though the fog starts to lift as they move into the forest area. This means that the advantage Kanata had from the fog will disappear, and he will have to rely on his skills to stay ahead.
Kanata will race alone and will need to protect his position from other racers like Aiba, who has a much faster Ferrari. At the same time, other racers like Aiba and Sakamoto will fight their way onto the track. The competition for the lead will be tough, especially between Sawatari and Beckenbauer.
Recap of Episode 6
To understand what is going to happen next, let’s take a look at the events that happened in episode 6, which was called ‘The Devil of Ashinoko Skyline’. The race continued in Ashinoko after the rain stopped, but then a thick fog known as the White Devil covered the track.
One racer, Aiba, quickly overtook another racer, Taylor, showing that he has strong instincts despite being known for having a temper and wearing out his tires very quickly. Aiba’s mentor, Ikeda, recognized Aiba’s raw potential and his flaws.
Kanata noticed that the water puddles that were helping him were drying up, making it difficult to race. The fog made it almost impossible to see, so the race’s general manager, Joyou, decided to continue the race, believing that it is the job of the MFG (Racing League) to handle extreme conditions.
Kanata took advantage of the fog and overtook another racer, Maezono, to take fourth place. He then pushed even harder to overtake Akaba and briefly led the pack. However, after coming out of the fog, Kanata felt he could have driven better, even though he had managed a good position.
